Blue Ridge Parkway Summer Engagement Session

Kelsie and Eric came all the way from Austin, Texas for their engagement session on the Blue Ridge Parkway. With no short supply of amazing spots along the stunning drive, we stopped at a few of my favorite spots on a warm summer day. My favorite thing about summer evenings in the mountains is the cool breeze and slightly lower temperatures. The dreamy wildflowers help, too. I’ve been to this meadow so many times and I’ve never seen it so full of gorgeous wildflowers. We found a grassy nook among the flowers to sit and enjoy them a bit.

Plus with the risk of a swift summer storm you have the chance to have some epic clouds roll in and make things interesting. Scroll to the end of their session to see what I mean! It provided the perfect back drop for a cool car shot, because when you’re driving a cool red mustang you’re kinda obligated to capture it, right?
