Colorado Wedding Packages

When you dream of your Colorado wedding…

You want a feeling of epic adventure and insane views without the hard work, cause really, who wants to sweat on their wedding day? I get it. Lucky for you Colorado offers just that.

Believe it or not Colorado is where adventure and luxury can go hand in hand which makes it the perfect place for your wedding day. And you’ll need your day to be captured well. I’m here to make that happen. After visiting multiple times and falling in love with the landscape more and more I decided to make this my home away from home and have been photographing couples in Colorado for the past 6 years. I’m here to help your dream day come true and turn your memories into art.

β€œErika somehow perfectly balances feeling like a close friend from the instant you meet her and being brilliantly professional at the same time.”

I’m here to make that photo you have in your mind, come to life.

You close your eyes and you two are running hand in hand with towering jagged peaks around you. You turn, smiling at each other, thinking how can this be real? You feel so alive, so full of joy.

Your photos should take you right back to that moment, that feeling. I’m here to make that happen.

I believe you deserve thoughtful documentation of your wedding day story so that you not only love the final product, but you also enjoy the experience of being photographed. I’ll never let the process of capturing your memories be anything but fun and easy.

Best Places to Get Married in Colorado

Crested Butte

Crested Butte, while a lesser known spot compared to the more popular ski resorts, offers less crowds and a stunning display of wildflowers in the summer. It has a ridiculously cute downtown and doesn't require you to go far for incredible views and trails full of flowers. Crested Butte offers more of a romantic laid back vibe than epic adventure.

San Juan Mountains

The San Juan Mountains offers epic views, alpine lakes and access to 4x4 jeeping trails that can take you to the most insane locations without breaking a sweat. If you want to avoid hiking but have access to insane views, come here for an unforgettable jeeping experience and then end in a small mountain town like Ouray, Silverton or Telluride for an intimate reception with your guests.

A real Colorado wedding day…

You’re family and pups standing next to an alpine lake nestled in the mountains, exchanging your vows. Your parents are your officiants and your dog signs your marriage license as witness. You share a delicious locally made cake before the two off you head off to wander through a wildflower filled meadow like you’ve never seen before. In the quaint downtown loved ones are eagerly waiting to hear about the adventure and share a delicious meal.

With authentic photographs that capture it all.

This day was lived wholeheartedly by Haley & Ross in Crested Butte, Colorado.

β€œWe had the blessing of booking Erika for our wedding and it was the best decision I’ve made besides choosing the groom!”

$800

  • While my address is in North Carolina, Colorado is my home away from home and I come out and explore all over Colorado June-September. Inquire with me about my current Colorado schedule!

  • Ah that’s going to be a tough choice! Colorado is known for it’s variety in landscape and really has a bit of everything. Some of my favorite places though are Crested Butte (the wildflower capital!), Ouray, and Telluride.

  • The peak season varies from late June to early August depending on specific location and elevation. Crested Butte is the wildflower capital and peak season there is my absolute favorite time of year and is usually late June through July.

Colorado Wedding Planning FAQs

  • Jeeping is super popular in Colorado! It’s a great way to cover a lot of distance in hard to access areas and see amazing places that a car can’t take you. The best part is, you can hire an expert guide to take you and your guests on a jeep tour, which are also customizable!

  • Nope! There are accessible spots with views that don't require hiking and in some areas you can hire a guide to take you (and your guests) jeeping to epic locations!

  • In Colorado you can self-solemnize, which means you can legally marry yourselves! Your dog can sign the certificate as witnesses with their paw print!
