You want to hang out with mother nature, and you want photos that encapsulate your relationship. That’s an amazing start. And I’m honored that those wants have led you here!
Truthfully, when it comes to choosing a photographer, beautiful wedding photos should be the bare minimum. I want to make sure not only the photos are exactly what you want, but so is your entire wedding experience. Below I’ve outlined how we can work together to achieve the day you plan on cherishing forever.

Just like I would never interrupt a precious moment, I’d never leave you feeling lost in front of my lens. We’ll dedicate some time to portraits and the must-have shots you dreamt up. But MOST of your time will be spent living fully and loving big without even realizing I’m documenting you.
And hey… as friends can I tell you a secret? The best thing to make you comfortable getting your photo taken is your partner. The more you compliment each other, crack jokes, poke fun, and enjoy the scenery – the less you’ll think about the camera. Your genuine connection will be captured, without my promoting or posing.

Every State and National Park has its own rules and regulations, but I’ve got navigating permits down to a science! Before we get that far, we’ll discuss: the locations you have in mind, if it’s feasible with the number of guests you’re inviting, if that area is accessible during the time of year you’re looking at, and what travel getting there would look like. I will be a touchstone to help answer questions and guide you through the submission process!

There are countless ways to plan out your wedding day, but it really comes down to what you want to prioritize and mapping it out in a way that allows you to get caught up in where you’re at; not what’s next on the agenda. I’ll provide you with ideas and different scenarios based on my experience.

Jake is ordained by American Marriage Ministries and we offer custom ceremony scripts that we build WITH you. No more generic scripts, we honor what is important to you and leave out the fluff. Need us to mail in the paperwork? We can do that too.

Before you go, I want to leave you with this advice…
Choose a photographer you want to spend time with.
Your photographer will set the stage for your experience and be a part of your memories. So choose someone who is as excited about your ideas as you are. Who you feel safe opening up to. Who you want to talk to for months while planning and send funny insta videos to just cause.
If you’re inviting guests, hire a planner or day of coordinator.
They will save you stress, give you peace of mind, and be another invaluable resource throughout planning/moving along your wedding day. I LOVE working with planners, because I have another teammate helping to bring a couple’s vision to life.
Don’t be afraid to be different.
There are no rules for how you go about your wedding day. Don't worry if you haven't seen it on Pinterest, or it sounds a lil’ crazy, or it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea – if it’ll make YOU happy, go for it.
