Newlyweds In-Home Session | Brittany + Alan

Since Brittany and Alan didn’t have time for an engagement session before their wedding day, they chose to have a session a few weeks after they got married once they moved into their new home. And while ya’ll know I am down for the epic mountain top photos, I believe it is so important to document all parts of life. Maybe even more so those sweet ordinary everyday moments.

Not only were Brittany and Alan able to reflect on the first few weeks of marriage and recall their favorite wedding day moments, we were able to document them in their new home AND their new puppy! (I don’t know about you but I always want more photos of my dogs, hahaha!) Sometimes it those things we never think to photograph that may be some of the ones we cherish most. I took a few photos of our very first apartment we got 6 years ago - the first place we called home as a married couple and they are just plain ol iPhone photos in poor light.

But I know, one day 50 years from now, we’ll be reminiscing about our first place and we’ll look back at those sweet photos and be flooded with memories.
